Photo Contest
(Sponsored by the Kittitas County Field and Stream
Club)
Conditions of the Contest
All entries are subject to acceptance by the Central
Washington Sportsmen Show Photo Contest Committee. All
decisions by the judges and/or the Photo Committee are
final and are not subject to appeal.
Photos are to be of living fish and/or wildlife, and
may include one or more persons. An entry may involve
a series of two or more photos, but entry fees (as below)
will apply to each photo. Photos entered and accepted
into the contest and exhibit will be displayed during
the February, 2009, Central Washington Sportsmen Show.
All reasonable care will be exercised to prevent damage
or loss of photos. However, Shuyler Productions, their
employees, sponsors or affiliates will not assume any
responsibility or liability for damage or loss of entries.
Entry Fees
17 and OLDER Entry Fee is $5.00 for the first photo
entered and $3.00 for each additional photo. Checks
must be made payable to Shuyler Productions. Entries
will not be accepted without payment of the entry fee.
Each entrant will receive a free pass to the show.
16 and UNDER Entry Fee is $3.00 for the first photo
entered and $2.00 for each additional photo. Checks
must be made payable to Shuyler Productions. Entries
will not be accepted without payment of the entry fee.
Each entrant will receive a free pass to the show.
PRIZES (CASH and/or RIBBONS) WILL BE AWARDED IN EACH
CATEGORY

First Place: Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, Series
Second Place: Fall/Winter, Spring/Summer, Series
Honorable Mention: Judges’ choice

Questions may be emailed to huckabay@cwu.edu. Winners
will be asked to provide a duplicate slide, negative
or digital .jpg file for use in the Central Washington
Sportsmen Show Web Site. Entry in this contest represents
consent to use the photo on the web site without further
compensation.
Guidelines
- The following will not be accepted for the contest:
Composites or digitally assembled photos; color or
black and white transparencies; special darkroom techniques,
the work of professional photographers; or any photograph
which has won a cash prize in a previous photo contest
- A maximum of three photos may be entered, and they
must be the original work of the entrant.
- Photos must be 8" x 10" and all must be
mounted (centered) on a 12" x 14" black
mat board or foam backing.
- A completed Aphoto tag@ (provided below) must be
attached to the back of each photo entered.
- A completed Aphoto information tag@ (provided below)
must be included with each photo entered.
- Entries must be mailed to arrive at Shuyler Productions,
P.O. Box 64, Selah, WA 98942, prior to February 1,
2009 or delivered to the Shuyler Productions information
booth by 2:00 p.m. the first day of the 2009 Central
Washington Sportsmen Show. All entries must be packaged
securely to prevent damage, and a completed Aenvelope
tag@ (provided below) must appear on the outside of
the package.
- Entries may be picked up during the last hour of
the 2009 Central Washington Sportsmen Show. Entries
to be returned in the mail must include a self-addressed
envelope large enough for the photo(s), with return
postage affixed. Entries not returned under one of
these conditions will become property of the sponsors.
